How Do I Send Vehicles to the Crusher?
Quick Guide to Scrapping Vehicles You Have Dismantled
If you wish to scrap some vehicles you have dismantled:
1) Sell the Complete Vehicle (Code 1000)
2) Enter the price the scrap company have paid per vehicle
3) Select the scrap metal yard you sold the vehicle to as the Client.
4) Click the Write Off button.
The vehicle record is written off. Any parts that are in stock from those vehicles (ie. with a location code of S) are left in stock. ARMS Version 6.2 assumes the parts with a location code of S have been removed and are actually on the shelf in stock. Any parts that are recorded as remaining on the vehicle (ie with a location code of V) are deleted from the system.
NOTE: If you are operating under the Prescribed Parts system, any prescribed parts will not be deleted but will be flagged as written off.
